Indian Premier League
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the governing body for cricket in India. It is the organisation that bears all the responsibilities regarding Indian cricket. It also governs all the cricket related activities in the country. BCCI is the official representative for India in the International Cricket Council (ICC) and it is also authorized for selecting the Indian national cricket team for participating in the international cricket tournaments. The Indian Premier League is a professional Twenty20 cricket (T20) league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007 and is a flagship event of theirs in India.
